What are Canine
Rescues?
Canine
Rescue Organizations specialize in saving dogs which have been placed in
kill shelters, rescued from abusive homes, abandoned or otherwise stray.
These dogs are usually placed in foster homes on a temporary basis to be
evaluated and resocialized into a loving environment. Rescue organizations
are dedicated to saving a pet's life and are usually non-profit.
With training, patience, and lots of love, most dogs adapt well to their
new permanent and loving homes.
