My name is Terri Thompson, Maltepoo.com web site founder and dedicated pet owner of five Maltepoos, Bear, Sophie, Scubba Sam, Molly and our latest addition to our family, Herman (He is a Doxie).  Over the past few years I have raised and bred our Maltese and Poodle mix dogs, now more commonly known as Maltepoos. This small personal web site originated out my interest in creating web pages and to dedicate and show my pride for these very special creatures who have brought to me many years of happiness.  I quickly learned that I was not the only one who owned, bred or adored this little hybrid dog.  I learned quickly just how many folks out there, who didn't already own a Maltepoo, would love an opportunity to adopt one or two. 

Since I am no longer breeding my Maltepoos, I have decided to venture out beyond my personal web site to provide services and products to all dog and puppy breeds.  After all, I believe that all pet owners should reward their devoted pets by providing them with toys, and other essential products that make them more comfortable, happy and add to the quality and longevity of their lives.  I strongly believe that a "happy and healthy pet makes for a happier and healthier human". 

During the first phase of our online petstore, we will be focusing on dog and puppy products, but are looking forward to carrying a full line of quality pet products for every kind of pet.  We look forward to offering our customers a reliable and convenient service that they will always return to when they are looking for new items to pamper their pet. 

As for our long term plan, we look forward to providing a special line of products with a portion of the proceeds donated to worthwhile organizations and rescues. We are proud to be affiliated with Bo Derek's Pet Product Collection that offer support to Canine Companions For Independent Living. We would also like to see more support go to U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine (with special focus on the cure and research of Canine Parvo Virus). 

Establishing positive consumer and business relationships is a vital means for our company to get off the ground and to achieving our long and short term goals.
